In Chinese research and the area of teaching C hinese as a foreign language, modal adverbs are used very difficultly for its complex grammar and different meanings. In this paper, the modal adverbs “Xingkui”,“Haozai”and“Haihao”are analyzed in three aspects and We hope the research results are helpful to Chinese teaching.The whole thesis contains six sections:Chapter one is a brief introduction of the purpose,significance,research methodology, data collection and its organization.Chapter two analyzes the three adverbs “Xingkui”,“Haozai” and “Haihao” about their different positions in sentences.The analysis Includes the syntactic distributions,the distributions of the sentence and the appearance with the word “Le”.Chapter three analyzes the three adverbs “Xingkui”, “Haozai” and “Haihao” about their Semantic features.The analysis Includes semantic level and semantic orientation.Chapter four analyzes the three adverbs “Xingkui”, “Haozai” and “Haihao” about their Pragmatic comparison. The analysis Includes tone differences and time structure differences.Chapter five put forwards different teaching methods about these three words,hope to be able to help C hinese Teaching.Chapter six is the conclusion.
