The main content of this magazine is the Macro Trend of branding, Industry Focus and a project ride of SomeOne studio.The author translates Branding in cooperation with the other classmate. This report is completed based on the translation project of the magazine. The report elaborates on the background of the project, task requirements, preparation before translation and text analysis. The author also interprets the significance of this report-providing domestic brand designers and fans with a shortcut to have a good knowledge of global graphic branding.The author adopts the theory of functional equivalence to guide the translation project. The important part of the report is case analysis, where the author summarises the translation difficulties and comes up with specific translation methods. At lexical level, the author probes into the translation of technical terms and conversion. At syntactic level, the author presents the translation methods of passive voice and long sentences. And the long sentences are translated in the original order, in the reverse order and by division and restructuring.
