The Study On The Problems And Countermeasures About Uyghur Translation Of The 2014 Chinese Government Work Report

The government work report is a document form of the People’s Republic of China. In the annual people’s Congress meeting and the Chinese people’s Political Consultative Conference,and the government at all levels releases the report to the president of the Congress, attending deputies and CPPCC National Committee. The main content is to review the effectiveness of the government in the past year and the development of the coming year.Uyghur translation quality of government work report, will directly affect the effect of use Uyghur citizen participation in politics. So the Chinese translation of government work report into Uyghur, how will the mother tongue for Uyghur readers to understand and accept the translation of the government work report, in the process of translation and use what translation principles,what is the use of translation methods and translation will encounter what kind of problems, these are the contents.This thesis wants to further understands the definition, language features and writing process through this research; Secondly, this thesis has a deep understanding about the translation style,principle and methods of political comment through this writing; Thirdly, this thesis finds its new information and innovations on the basis of the previous research achievement through the analysis of its translation works; In the end, this thesis hopes its research results will help bilingual learner’s learning, conducive to the spread of national information, and let different language users obtain the same effect of report.During the time of reading through the Chines Uyghur version of 2014 government work report, thesis find that there are so many problems about translated work report in word translation,circumstance expression and translation method. And we need concrete countermeasures to solve these problems. First, when translating the new words are technical term, we need to pay more attention to its writing standard; Second, the translations level needs to be improved to translate the relevant circumstance expression or it needs to strengthen the translation method. Third, on the translation methods, we need to use other translation methods like supplement or taking notes,except the basic translation method. Overall, during the real translation, we it is required to have suitable solutions to the related problems.This paper contains introduction, text, epilogue and bibliography.In the introduction part, this thesis mainly introduces the research purpose, significance,research achievement, methodology and its innovations. Then, some suggestions and give about the research achievement according to the previous research results.This thesis is divided into three parts:The first part is basic introduction, including the definition of government work report, textand characteristics. Then, this paper states the main content and language features of the 2014 government work report.The second part includes the third and fourth chapter. In this part, thesis analyze the translation principle of the 2014 government work report from the translators’ and readers’ point of view, through the translation theory and Eugene Nida’s functional equivalence respectively.The third part is the core part of the whole thesis including the fifth and sixth chapter. In the fifth chapter, the thesis analyzes the translation methods which is used in the 2014 government work report. The methods are literal translation, free translation, transliteration, amplification,omission transformation and synthesis method. The six chapter analyzes the existing problems which is appeared during the translation process, and integrates the problems. Then, this thesis puts forward relevant countermeasures to solve the problem.The conclusion part is a summary which is summarized according to the analysis above. In this part, the thesis summarized, the writing insights, innovations and the existed deficiencies in the whole paper.
