With the pace of development of the times, deepening teaching reform, impromptu piano accompaniment set subject knowledge and skills and integration has become a hot spot at this stage. How well the improvised accompaniment learning more or less affect the level and quality of primary and secondary schools teachers. Moment due to various reasons, whether impromptu piano accompaniment quantity or quality of teaching of the culture have undergone major changes to adapt to cope with such changes, the reform of Piano Improvisation Course imperative. The main contents of this study is the Higher Teachers College Music Majors Learning Piano Improvisation manner, analyze and summarize Piano Improvisation Teaching problem. Normal is the Normal Colleges and Universities biggest difference to other music, so impromptu piano accompaniment course there are also differences.Piano Improvisation Course of Music Education is a professional and practical skills and practical courses in one discipline, this discipline is also today’s music education majors in employment testing theory and practice the ability to bind a concentrated expression. But the results proved its importance is often overlooked by students and even colleges and universities, teaching is less than satisfactory, the authors reading extensive literature research as well as their own learning and experience, the text in detail what is the piano accompaniment, Playing content and methods, the development status of piano improvisation course and the presence of a series of problems.In this paper, the author where the city’s three normal universities, for example, further reform of the professor and the current Normal Course improvised accompaniment conducted a series of simple summary. Thus draw the following conclusions:Normal impromptu accompaniment course inseparable from the basic theory of learning, but also closely linked to the students’ level of piano, harmony, musical courses, teaching purposes only reasonable and accurate positioning discipline, strengthen teaching methods reform and practice, establish a series of well-course construction safeguard mechanism and evaluation mechanism, many actively cultivate students’ creative thinking to get out of a new road of curriculum development.
