Classifiers in Chinese language are almost an obstruction impossible to overcome for Chinese learners and teachers of Chinese as a foreign language. In such category, temporary nominal classifiers are the most difficult point in teaching of Chinese as a foreign language, and a kind of words which make Chinese more elegant, veritable and meaningful. At present, plenty of ontology research material of Chinese temporary nominal classifiers and material of error analysis of and education tactics research for teaching of Chinese as a foreign language is available, while less research has been performed on the proper combination of ontology research and education, refine classification of temporary nominal classifiers based on their usage mentioned in teaching materials, and related teaching tactics suggestions. It indicates that as a special subdivision of temporary nominal classifiers, there’s still vast space for deep research.The article intends to perform survey and analysis on the 75 foreign students’ temporary nominal classifiers learning situation in the College of International Cultural Exchange, Central China Normal University, get acquaintance of their study situation of temporary nominal classifiers, apply comparative analysis method and cross analysis method, make analysis on common error analytic results and its reasons based on the statistics of number, class and use of nouns which can be used as temporary nominal classifiers in the "Mandarin Chinese Course" and "Road to Success" series teaching material, and figure out the difficulties of teaching of temporary nominal classifiers in order to make contribution to the accumulation of classifiers of teaching of Chinese as a foreign language.The article also refines the classification of temporary nominal classifiers defined by predecessors besides expanding the collocation of temporary nominal classifiers based on predecessors’ research. It sorts the nouns which can be used as nominal classifiers contained in series of "Mandarin Chinese Course"、"Mandarin Chinese Reading Course"、"Chinese Tutorial" and "Road to Success" into four classes and 6 subdivisions, including containable type (containers), containable type (space), attachable type (loaders), attachable type (attachment), body organs and locations. It makes the study and teaching of temporary nominal classifiers more simple and close to life.Based on the analysis of study situation and teaching material analysis, the writer puts forward teaching principles and methodology, and draws conclusion on test skills of temporary nominal classifiers by four aspects for the purpose of improving foreign students’temporary nominal classifiers learning, and helping them in learning all classifiers.
