With the continuous development of Olympic Games image, the mature period of kernel graphs in Olympic Games image gradually develops and becomes mature. Up to now, kernel graphs have experienced a period of meaningful evolution, i.e., the five periods of germination period, assistance period, transition period, kernel period and promotion period. In VIS, it gradually replaces auxiliary graph and becomes a kernel element equal with signs of visual identification system (VIS). Kernel graphs are like bonds, binding other visual elements and building flexible visual images of brand unification.This paper starts from conclusion, the summary of the concept of kernel graphs and the evolution process. Through the comparison of kernel graphs, auxiliary graphs and signs, the research focuses on the following points:1. The function and value of kernel graphs; 2. Study the uniqueness and diversity of the design principles of kernel graphs through analyses of multiple cases with unique value; 3. Uniformity, flexibility and richness of applied standards help to construct design framework for VIS in different media and build unified, standard and systemic visual images; finally, apply the design principles and applied standards of kernel graphs reasonably in graduation creation——"Shoushang Kung Fu Kernel Graph Design" and explain how to apply the unique and diversified kernel graphs of VIS into Shoushang Kung Fu brand visual image uniformly, flexibly and abundantly.
