A Practice Report On E-C Translation Of Customer Analytics For Dummies(Chapter 4, 5 And 6)

This report is based on the translation process of Customer Analytics for Dummies.Based on the case study, this report focuses on the key translation problems and discusses the applicability of Semantic Translation and Communicative Translation in this practice.Some computer-aided translation techniques are applied in the process so as to increase efficiency, maintain the accordance of the terminology and solve the problem of typesetting.This report consists of six parts. In Part One, this project is briefly presented from the background, the character of the article, the requirements of the client and the process of this translation. Part Two pays attention to some translation aided techniques such as Bing Online Translation System and memo Q software. Part Three gives a brief overview of Semantic Translation and Communicative Translation as well as other translation strategies. Part Four introduces how to use translation strategies and skills to optimize translation version. Besides, Part Five focuses on the translation pattern that is summarized from the process. The last part gives a conclusion to the whole report, and indicates what can be further improved.
