| Seafarers and their work have gained more attention from maritime community since 2006 Maritime Labor Convention(MLC)entered into force,and the related news is increasingly spreading through all kinds of media.Being an important branch of maritime news,Seafarer news mainly includes seafarers' welfare,training,their wellbeing and health and other related matters.It is also one of the important medium for China to understand the dynamics of the international maritime community.This paper mainly takes the seafarers'news,from June 2017 to June 2018,as the research text,with the purpose to provide a real time information about seafarers' activities to domestic readers,so that more attention can be paid to further improving seafarers' work and welfare.At the same time,the author found in the translation process that although the news is updated every day,under the same topic,the terms,phrases,sentence patterns and main contents of news are largely repetitive and similar.In order to improve translation efficiency,save time and ensure the consistency of terminology before and after,the author uses computer-aided translation software Tmxmall as the tool,analyzes the text,and adopts different translation techniques,such as addition,combination,splitting,shift for post-editing sentences with low matching degree,as well as machine translation for zero matching sentences,aiming to realize the rapidity and accuracy,and to summarize the techniques and methods of computer-assisted translation technology andartificial post-editing,which are expected to provide reference for future relevant translation activities. |
