This paper takes the situations of foreign students from Central Asia’s Chinese speaking and writing around colleges in Xinjiang, classifies them with the theory of Error Analysis, with which searches the reasons why the foreign students from Central Asia always make mistakes while learning and using Chinese adversative conjunction, and provides methods to avoid the error.There are 4 sections in this paper. First one, Introduction, states the significance and writing method of this paper, offering and sorting the pertinent literature of Chinese adversative conjunction. Next, classifies the errors of Chinese adversative conjunction using into four categories with the research before. The third section describes the reasons of these four sorts of Chinese adversative conjunction using errors from Cognitive Linguistics, Lexicology, Pragmatics to learning environment. It is found that it’s easier for the students to miss the certain adversative conjunction when they’re under the affection of their native language, and to misplaced the certain word when they know less of tone and range of Chinese adversative conjunction. The last section tells a few of methods of how to avoid the error, analyses from textbook,teachers to pupil.And after all, the writer dedicates to provide some help for foreign students from Central Asia to learn the right use of Chinese adversative conjunction and make less mistakes using it, and experience for Chinese teacher to do their job better, while applying the knowledge of International teaching of Chinese to practical teaching.
