The Chinese Teaching Research In The Philippines’ Chinese School

This paper is mainly according to the author’s Chinese teaching practice in the Philippines in 2015, the methods which this paper takes are questionnaire survey and interviews. And the investigation is about the present situation of Pace Academy in Chinese teaching. The contents of the investigation mainly include six aspects. They are the student’s motivation and attitude in learning Chinese, the Chinese teachers’ faculty, the Chinese book and the Chinese class instructional, the Chinese curriculum settings and the examination methods.On the basis of the investigation, the author found that there are some problems in Chinese teaching of Pace Academy.As one of the Chinese school in the Philippines, it lacks the Chinese teachers and the suitable Chinese book for the students, at the same time,Chinese classroom teaching quality is not high and the Chinese curriculum is single,the teacher controls the student’s score strictly in evaluation. In order to solve these problems, the author puts forward some concrete advice, its aim is to improve the quality of the Chinese teaching of Pace Academy,and perfect the case studies of Chinese teaching in Philippines’ Chinese schools.The paper is divided into six chapters.The first chapter mainly explains the background of the paper’s topic,the purpose,significance, status research, methodology. The second chapter is the investigation and analysis about the students and the Chinese language teachers of Pace Academy, The third chapter is about the Chinese book and the Chinese class instructional, The fourth chapter is about the Chinese curriculum settings and the examination methods, The fifth chapter is about the problems existing in the Chinese teaching, and putting forward some concrete suggestions. The sixth chapter is conclusion.
