The marketization of public service reform is to represent the general trend underthe condition of market economy. The marketization of public service was twentiethCentury since70time, the core theme of the administrative reforms in westerncountries, but also made great achievements in the areas of reform. Public servicemarket reform in western countries, has injected new vitality into the westernadministrative tradition, improvement of public administration in western countries,to improve government efficiency, promote economic development, to meet thepublic demand for public services.The marketization of public service, as the practice of the market model, thebasic idea is to introduce market mechanism into the public service organizationoperation, the marketization of public service. Since the reform and opening up,China’s government conform to the needs and requirements of public services tocitizens growing, actively promote the marketization of public service, which is animportant symbol of China’s government to service government. Therefore, ourgovernment’s public service function of continuous improvement, and constantlyimprove the level of public service, the continuous optimization of the structure, inshort, the current public service marketization has achieved initial success. However,in the market also exist many problems, and limited by many factors. The restrictionfactors mainly in: public service coverage is low, the market mechanism is not perfect,the transformation of government functions is not in place, the relevant system is notperfect, there is deviation in the process of marketization concept, lack of supervisionand breeding corruption problem. Perfect public service system has not beenestablished, are not well adapted to the requirements of building a harmonioussociety.This paper is divided into six chapters, the first chapter of public service marketon the background is briefly introduced; the second chapter is the related concepts;the third chapter analyzes the market reform in western developed countries,experience and Enlightenment to China; in the fourth chapter, Nanchang City Hallpublic service marketization as an example, the features and reasons of lack ofgovernment responsibility in the process of public service marketization in theanalysis, reveals the hinder factors of current our country public service reform; the fifth chapter in view of the existence of the Chinese government in the public servicemarketization in the matter of a targeted strategy; the sixth chapter is the conclusion.
