Prison is the administration of carrying out criminal punishment, and is animportant part of People Democracy Dictatorship. Prison has undertaken the importantresponsibility of the reform of prisoners, prevents and reduces crime again by law, andmade great contribution to safeguard national security and social stability. In resentyears, because of the social contradictions, the numbers of the criminals increased andthe personnel composition complicated year by year. The nature of the criminal’sviolent and cluster intensified and the unstable factors increased obviously and thesituation become more and more serious. After the eighth Amendment to Criminal Lawand the revised Criminal Procedure Law were promulgated, Trend of Parole andCommutation had been limited; the prison had to face with more deep-seatedcontradictions and problems. With the development of social civilization, the masseshave higher expectations to social fairness and justice and stricter standard to prison’slaw enforcement standards and enforcement. The civil and maintaining rightsconsciousness of criminal and their families had been regain consciousness andstrengthen making higher demands on the humanization and standardization of theprison law enforcement. Once the sudden events happened such as criminal escaped ordeath or the daily management were exposed in the prison daily management, often cancause the strong focus of public opinion and bring great loss in prison images. Theinnovation of prison management brings new pressure too. The new methodintroduction and implementation such as “The primary standard” proposing andInitiating by Department of Justice, Evidence-based correction and case managementin the field of education remodeling, which means the prison’s work are transformingfrom traditional type and experience type to precision, scientific and professionalization.Higher requirements are putting forward to the study capacity and study power of the managers of the prison-prison police. They are facing with an unprecedented weightyresponsibility and serious challenge. This is the topic selection background of this study. This study using job satisfaction as foothold and the police of S Prison as objectdiscussed the following questions:(1) The status analysis and problem description of theburnout and job satisfaction in S Prison.(2) The influence of burnout to job satisfactionin S Prison: Whether there is any influence from burn to job satisfaction, if there is, howis influence degree?(3)Which countermeasures should be taken to reduce burnout andincrease the satisfaction in S Prison.Literature reviews and research reviews were doing firstly in this study, Thenforwarded a hypothesis that burnout can significant effect and forecast the degree of thejob satisfaction using the on-the-job police from S prison as the objects to processempirical analysis. This study using the LISREL software to check and revise thequestionnaire of the burnout and job satisfaction, using the SPSS software to processdate, then get the investigation results of the burnout and job satisfaction in S Prison:Conclusion:1. The overall occupation burnout of police from S prison is not very serious, butthe job satisfaction level is not high.2. Different gender and different contacts with the criminals have significantdifferences in each dimension; apart from the decreased occupation efficacy, thedifferences of night-working and various dimensions of occupation burnout and jobsatisfaction are significantly different. In addition to these two high-impact factors, agegroups, lengths of police service, police ranks, education degrees were significantlydifferent in emotional exhaustion dimensions. Also, different marital status and lengthsof police service have significantly differences in inner-satisfaction dimensions.3.Three-dimension of burnout was significantly negatively correlated with eachdimension of job satisfaction.4. Three-dimension of burnout can be a good predictor of the job satisfaction. Finally, according to results of data analysis, combined with the real situation of Sprison, I will give five management advices on reducing the occupation burnout andimprove the job satisfaction to the administration departments. The possible innovation in this study may have:(1) innovation in research area: Inour country, the study on burn and job satisfaction was focused on the field of teachers, counselors, doctors, and nurses. The study on the police was involved only in recentyears and the study of prison police-as a special launching in the police was even littler. This study will focus on the special group to rich burnout and job satisfaction researchdata.(2) Innovation in research contents: Previous research more focus on the influencefactors of burnout and consequence factors are very rare. This study using theoreticallydiscuss on the interaction mechanism of burnout and job satisfaction which deemed jobsatisfaction as one of the consequence variables of burnout. This discovery deepens thecognition of the two interaction fields.(3) Innovation in research method: The researchon job burnout and job satisfaction, there were lots of literatures stay in theoreticalanalysis and qualitative description lacking of empirical data support. This studycombined the theoretical research and empirical research, and combined qualitativedescription and quantitative analysis to enhance the credibility of the conclusion.Due to the limitation of personal time, effort, and academic level, this article alsohas many disadvantages:(1) the questionnaire is limited in this study, failed to cover thesample size to all the police S prison. The number is little especially in the postgraduateand above, the Deputy Department director level and above, which may have a certainextent impact on comprehensive and representative of research conclusions.(2)Considering the issue of convenience, the fill place of this questionnaire were chosen inthe respondents workplace. So the respondents may tend to give more positive answerbecause of the concern that their answer will be seen by colleagues and leaders and tosome extent affect the objectivity of the survey data. Finally, have expectations of future,(1) Due to the limited theory and scientificresearch level of the writer, there were a preliminary exploration in burnout and jobsatisfaction two areas. The relationship between the two areas may more complicated inpractice. Whether there is any other variable to influence both degree of burnout and jobsatisfaction, or there is any other variable plays an intermediary role between burnoutand job satisfaction, and how they interact with each other on the time. All these needfurther research to explore.(2) The questionnaire adopted by this study is the international general maturity scale, may not measurement the burnout and jobsatisfaction level completely in the particular group-Prison Police, although thereliability and validity of these questionnaire were passed inspection. Exclusivequestionnaire can be designed in the future for the characteristics of the Prison Police.(3)The study found that MBI-GS and MSQ were lack of Norm tested by large samples, which caused some obstacles on comparative study, hoping in the future scholars canfill the blank in this field.
