In recent years, with the expansion of the theoretical study on the ideological and political education, researchers gradually become aware of the important role played by the discourse in the realization of function and topic setting of ideological and political education. Thus, research on discourse began to receive more positive response. But it should be noticed that the related undergoing research is carried out mostly from linguistics, semantics or practical pragmatic point of view. In contrast, the study of the discourse of ideological and political education from the perspective of communication has not yet started to appear. In fact, the ideological and political education is a special type of communication. The ignorance of its communication attribute does not help to fundamentally solve all kinds of problems in the practical application of the discourse of ideological and political education,and is also a regret in the research field. Therefore, the study on the effectiveness of the discourse of ideological and political education from the perspective of communication is supposed to become a theoretical and practical issue to be noticed and solved.The study on the effectiveness of the discourse of ideological and political education is an important issue of the study on the discourse of ideological and political education. The study on the effectiveness is aimed to solve the following problems:Firstly, the analysis of the basic factors and process mode that influence the discourse communication effects of ideological and political education is inevitable in the study of the effectiveness of the communication discourse of ideological and political education. As well, they make discourse of ideological and political education face some practical problems such as loss of dominance of communication discourse, lag and failure of traditional communication discourse as well as disorder of traditional discourse environment. The reasons for the above problems lie in the narrowing of the communication discourse domain, the weakness of integration of communication discourse and the transition disorder of communication discourse of ideological and political education.Finally, it should be noticed that the transmission process of discourse of ideological and political education is a process where all elements combine and function as a whole. Therefore, facing the complex environment, in order to realize the scientificalness and effectiveness of communication discourse, we are supposed to actively cultivate a team working as the best disseminators so as to strengthen the communication advantage; we should regulate various factors in the communication of ideological and political education so as to strengthen the integrative ability over communication discourse; we must establish an operating system of communication discourse of ideological and political education so as to program the discourse transmission work and finally improve the effectiveness of the communication discourse of ideological and political education.
