Base on this faith, thispaper aims to discuss the destiny and complicated psychology transformation ofWuhan’s national bourgeoisie. The life of Wuhan’s national bourgeoisie is a tragicsymphony with the continuing ups and downs. In the unstable warring times, nationalbourgeoisie suffered enormous cruel repression from the imperialism and exploitationfrom the Nationalist Party. They had to survive from the edging condition. When itcomes to the establishment of New China, the national bourgeoisie can not escape fromthe life of elimination under the situation of New Democratic regime. In the short periodfrom1949to1956, the national bourgeoisie have made great contribution to thecountry’s infrastructure, especially in the industrial area and commercial area. Finally,they have completed their own historical mission in the cheerful atmosphere. Nationalbourgeoisie were once the profit-oriented businessmen. At this time, they are theworking people. All of this happened too fast, but it was meant to be. Wuhan wasconsidered as the second largest trading center in China. Wuhan’s national bourgeoisiehad gone through the miserable pain and gained plenty of wealth through their hardwork. However, the tendency of socialist transformation has made them disappear in thehistorical stage. Wuhan’s national bourgeoisie are a group of lively spirituality, distinctcharacters and the specially-owned prints of Wuhan People. Therefore, the explorationof Wuhan’s national bourgeoisie inner world transformation in the early establishmentof New China is a challenging academic journey.
