China is the country with fastest pace of population aging in the world.Till the end of2013, the number of China’s elderly population aged over65has reached136million, of which the population of advanced old age,disability, semi-disability disability has exceeded36million. Withacceleration of the aging process and the arrival of the old-age society, ourfamilies and the whole society is taking great pension pressure, meanwhile“aging industry” which is targeting to the old people is beginning to develop.For a huge demand of care service of disable and semi-disable old people, agroup of aged care services companies came into being,"QS Aged CareServices Limited" is a representative domestic enterprise in home-based careservice industry. However, due to the general lack of user purchasing powerand the marketing ability of the enterprise and other reasons, with stronggovernment support and the seemingly huge market space, QS company isstill facing to development bottleneck. This article will use modern enterprise strategy management theory as aguide to analyze the internal resources and external environment of QScompany and develop a workable strategic initiatives for QS, combining theactual market conditions and its own resources. I hope this article willprovide a certain reference for a group of young home-based elder careservice companies which have the similar development difficulties. I hopeQS company grow and develop in the near future, become the developmentmodel in elder care service industry and thus inject new vitality for the whole“aging industry”.This article includes four main parts. The first part will analyze theinternal environment of QS company. The second part will analyze theindustry environment of QS company using PEST analytical model. Thethird part will conclude the advantage, disadvantage, opportunity and threatof QS using SWOT matrix analytical model on the basis of the preceding twoparts and determine the strategic choice of QS. The forth part will provideimplementation plans in terms of marketing measures, human resources,product design and expansion means.
