The Analysis Of China’s Food Safety Problems With Mechanism Design Theory And The Counter-measure Research

With the social and economic development, food safety has attracted much attention.To solve the problem of food security, China made a variety of practice and exploration.Since 2008, the Chinese government in order to enhance the strength of supervision, has developed a series of food safety management system of laws and regulations, and the supervision institutions and governance, product acceptance, safety pick up also did a series of reforms.But, because of the complexity of the food related issues, make China in the governance of food safety problem is not found in the complicated reasons for its internal mechanisms, is still the past that no system of deficit, low efficiency, so the food safety incidents have also occurred.Which make people not only lost all confidence in food safety, serious damage to social and public interests, and also to the development of China’s food industry and Chinese food’s international reputation caused incalculable loss, at the same time seriously affected the government credibility.Therefore, this study in combination with the existing food safety research results both at home and abroad, the systemic research on food safety issues, and in-depth analysis of the problems of China’s food safety status, formation causes and effects.First of all, this study combined with relevant example summing up the present situation of China’s food safety problems were analyzed.Secondly, this article analysis from the perspective of mechanism design, due to China’s food safety is the deep-seated reasons for the problem often appear business interests, supervisor, consumer interests and social interests between the incentive incompatibility problems, so that China’s food safety running results deviate even deviated from the social governance objectives, and make the production unsafe food become the norm.Then, this study combined with another countries, such as the United States and Japan respectively on the basis of the relevant case to solve the problem of food and analysis give us enlightenment, is worth our using for reference the advanced experience.Finally, aiming at the problems in practice, from the perspective of mechanism design incentive compatibility principle systematically puts forward the relevant countermeasures.
