Study On The Deliberative Democracy With Chinese Characteristics

With the development of social economy, the interests of the citizens tend to be more diversified, electoral democracy can not fully reflect political opinions of citizens. At this point, in order to make up for the defect of electoral democracy, deliberative democracy theory has emerged in the west. It emphasizes that the way of citizens taking part in decision-making should not be constrained in the vote form, but fully discussed, with the result of the negotiation to influence the final decision, is a more effective way of solving contradiction.Deliberative democracy with Chinese characteristics developed under the guidance of Marxist theory, the learning from western good idea of democracy, and creatively combined democratic theory with our own practice.The development of the deliberative democracy in our country faced a series of problems on the level of theory and practice, but it still plays a very important function and has a broad development prospects is in the socialist democracy construction.This dissertation mainly goes from five parts:the first part is the introduction part, which mainly explains the research background, research status at home and abroad and the research significance of the thesis, in order to get a preliminary understanding of the research of this dissertation;The second introduces the meaning and characteristics of deliberative democracy systematically; The third part analyzes the process of the formation and development of the deliberative democracy with Chinese characteristics,to comb the development course of deliberative democracy in China from the germination period, formation period and the establishment period.The fourth part discusses the present situation of the political consultation system with Chinese characteristics, puts forward some problems existing in the current China’s political consultation;The fifth part combs reasons of the problem produced by China’s political consultation practice; The last part of this dissertation is countermeasure part, through the analysis of the cause of the problem, four measures have been put forward to promote the development of the deliberative democracy in the innovation path according to the development of socialism with Chinese characteristics.
