China is one of the world’s most populous country, China’s urbanization rate has reached to 55%. There are more than the half of the people living in cities, the absolute number is already more than seven million. The speed of China’s urbanization rate is so fast, in the eve of the Reform and Opening Up, China’s urbanization rate was less than 20 percent, with over thirty years, the number will be nearly three times of that figure. Urbanization has brought a large number of hu-man resources, but also presents a huge challenge to the original pension system in urban and rural areas. How to make a good old-age security system in Urbanization is necessary to ensure fairness, but also to ensure efficiency, it has become an urgent problem to be solved.In recent years, the construction of new urbanization is in full swing, how to integrate this reform of the pension sys-tem and specific initiatives, is the key to solve this problem.This paper is the current hot theme of the urbanization and pension security construction..
