Research On Project Management Of Venture Philanthropy: Theory And Case

Project management is a systematic scientific system. As a special project form, venture philanthropy projects has many features including public welfare, less investment,single investment, short-term assessment oriented and participatory management and so onThis article would introduce the concept of project management to venture philanthropy projects.According to the characteristics of venture philanthropy projects, drawing on knowledge of project management, we tried to propose the ideal model of venture philanthropy project management and the basic principles including the welfare principle, practical principle, participatory management principle and capacity-building principle.We selected two types of projects and made observation and in-depth interviews on them.We dissected its successes and failures, reflected on project management of venture philanthropy. Finally, according to the case studies, we offered proposals in two dimensions from investors and project execution for the developme nt of project management of venture philanthropy.
