Management modes of partnership enterprise are mostly derived from the traditional experience. Those modes have characteristics such as loose structure, simply operation,disorder system, and low competitiveness. Several factors, just like the impetus of growth and development, market competition and harsh external environment, promote the partnership to enhance the management level. Introduction of performance evaluation and performance management is the core of enterprise standardized management system,which is related to all aspects of partnership management. The transformation from rough assessment methods even old-fashioned ways without examination to the process management system which matches with the modern enterprise management, can accomplish the organic linkage of personal performance, department performance and organizational performance, which will finally contribute to the partnership enterprise growth.Firstly, this paper reviews the performance management and performance evaluation theory and empirical research related. Through the analysis of relevant literatures, this paper presents the research progress of performance management and performance evaluation theories, and focuses on performance management. Based on the review, the definitions of related concepts are clarified and a theoretical foundation is laid.Secondly, structures of law firms and the change trend of organization in China and abroad are explain. Moreover, the evolutionary characteristics of law firm management and performance management are discussed. Based on the theory analysis above mentioned,the different environment problems and development problems of partnership enterprises are also discussed by taking YD Law Firm as a case.Furthermore, the existing problems of performance management of YD Law Firm are analyzed. And then a new performance management system is put forward. The system constructs an EVA comprehensive score card by introducing EVA indexes into balanced scorecard, which unify BSC and EVA in a new method. Specifically, the model also solves the problem of index assignment by using the factor analysis method.Finally, the performance evaluation model is applied in YD Law Firm, which illustrates the procedure of evaluation and verifies the feasibility of the evaluation system.
