The Research On The Spiritual Endowment For The Rural Empty Nester Under Social Capital Theory

With the deepening of social reform, accelerating urbanization, the floating population continued to increase, the average life expectancy extension of the process, the proportion of elderly population in the total population is growing. At the same time, the rapid develop of our society and generate a large number of empty nesters in the rural areas, its as vulnerable groups is caused the wide attention of the society. In recent years, people more and more research on empty nest old man’s basic life safeguard. This research focuses on the spiritual support in rural areas of empty nesters, because after the material life has been basically met the care of emotional needs will be increasingly prominent.This study used qualitative research methods, mainly by unstructured interviews and participatory observation to collect data. Through in-depth daily life in rural empty nesters, tease out the inadequate of rural empty nesters spiritual support mainly in the lack of emotional comfort, authoritative identity ectopic and cultural systems rupture three aspects, and then follow these three dimensions as the overall framework to study rural empty nesters stock of social capital from the perspective of social capital:First is the emotional capital, mainly exist in the primary groups such as family, the number of provider, scale and scope of interaction can affect it; Followed by the authority of capital, the elderly in a traditional society from the moral and ethical safeguard the authority of the identity and status has been over and replace by modern society on the basis of earning power of modern authority. Last is the cultural capital, traditional cultural integration role within the family is weakened, in the family more and more atomized, formal organization replaced the form of informal organization, but did not play a role in the integration of tradition informal organizations, when the spirit of the elderly endowment effect, rural culture in the disconnect state. Then the article analyzes the role of social capital in rural empty nesters pension in spirit, and then put forward to individual networks as the carrier of emotional capital, to build authority social capital based on social trust and in reciprocal order for the goal of the mutual cultural capital.In this study, use of the social capital theory to analyze the spiritual endowment mainly within the scope of the micro family and community organizations, and is exploratory research, to achieve the path to build a spiritual endowment capital has a strong subjective judgment, in the face of the tide of China comprehensively deepen reform is sure to appear the deviation of the actual, the conceptual which emotional capital, authority capital and cultural capital were built in the research process of analysis the study, there will be less strict, not standardized phenomenon, we hope that it can be further enriched in the future studies.
