With the progress and development of society, more and more people join the volunteer ranks, becoming the city’s community service is an important integral part of the group, in a wide range of services to meet community needs and promote social spiritual civilization has played an important role. Due to the special nature of volunteer groups, so strengthen and improve the management of urban community service volunteers, more and more people’s attention.In this study, the author from his internship experience starting Y Zhengzhou City Community Service Center, for example, on the basis of values and methods and techniques of social work to the advantage of perspective and motivation theory, mainly through observation, interviews and group work study law, preliminary urban community service volunteers in the management of the system were studied.This paper consists of five parts. The first part describes the background of this study, literature review and research design. Outlines the community service center for volunteer management research background and significance, describes the current research achievements in related fields at home and abroad. Community Service from the city center, the volunteers, the definition of volunteer service, the basic characteristics of the study start to volunteer for community service center management to define; the second part introduces the basic situation of Y community as a case study, and through I work actually in contact with the volunteers, explained the basic overview of the center, including the current profile of the volunteer center and the center to carry out volunteer services and other basic information, the author briefly describes the collection of the Centre first -hand information; the third part the author introduces Y Community Service Center in management concepts and methods of the basic status of volunteer management, and practical case studies presented by the process of a complete group work, and according to the perspective of the advantages and incentives theory of group work process and results were evaluated; the fourth part the author describes the perspective from the question of community service center effectiveness and the main problems at the time of volunteer management. For example, recruiters process imprudent; training system is imperfect; lack of volunteer management team of professionals; yet to establish a sound system, and reward volunteers assessment; fifth part according to the part of the problems in this paper analyzes the Community Service Center The reason for volunteer management problems and propose targeted countermeasures and suggestions that regulate volunteer selection methods; establish systems of volunteer training system; establishing a volunteer steering system; establish peer evaluation and reward systems.In this study, the management of volunteer community service center for the study aims to explore this particular social group of volunteers in today’s social environment, facing the diverse needs of service groups, community service centers should be more reasonable to management of volunteers, how to be more effective incentive to participate in volunteer community service volunteers to take full advantage of social workers and volunteers and play their own advantages, promote the development of professional services and volunteer community service centers. Valid throughout the social capital, promote community welfare services, building a harmonious society, social spiritual civilization play its due role.
