Research On The Youth Community Endowment Intend And System Response

Focusing on young people’s endowment intend, improving the enthusiasm toattend endowment insurance is important force to promote the sustainabledevelopment of endowment insurance system in China. The progress of humancivilization, the development of economy, the medical technology improvement andthe subsequent effects of the family planning policy, causes Chinese endowmentpressure gradually increase. Facing the increasingly serious problems as well as moreequitable and sustainable demand of the construction of the social security system,exploring the reform of endowment insurance system has become the importantcontent to study. As the main force of social development, youth group not onlyshoulder the social responsibility of promoting development, their endowment intendwill also influence the sustainability of endowment insurance system in China,therefore, take the contemporary young people as the target group to study thedevelopment of the social security system in China has vital significance.Based on the questionnaire investigation to the young people in three cities ofJilin province, I found that self consciousness of the contemporary young people isnot high, and for endowment intend choice, young people tend to protect their elderlylife by themselves or the government. For more in-depth and thorough understandingof the factors affecting young people willing to choose the pension, we use a binarylogistic regression analysis, starting from the individual characteristics of youth,family structure, social characteristics, to study the influence of these factors to theirendowment intend. Logistic models showed that gender, residence, education leveland family structure had no significant impact on the pension willingness to youngpeople; the influence of age on the young to choose self pension and governmentpension are significant, moreover, career choice for young people’s willingness toinfluence self pension is also very significant. On the above analysis, in order to improve the enthusiasm to attend endowment insurance of youth groups, this studyproposes the following policies and recommendations: strengthen the fairness of thesystem structure, reduce urban and rural areas as well as intergenerational unfairnessbetween the pension; strengthen the multilevel nature of the pension system，reducethe burden on the government and make full use of human resources; strengthen theintegration of the pension system, expand coverage while further promoting thedevelopment of pension supporting system; promote the legal process of pensionsystem, protect pension system legally; increase the campaigns of pension system,improve the enthusiasm to attend endowment insurance of youth groups, and promotethe stable development of pension system in China.
