Especially for the grass-roots civil servants who are an important part ofcivil servants and serve the public straight-forward, often face various social contradictionsdirectly, to ease psychological stress and accept education about metal health is urgent.On the basis of referring to large number of documents, and in the way of investigatingthe issue by making questionnaires and interviewing, the paper mainly focus on studying theoccupational stress, the present situation and causes of mental health of the grass-roots civilservants of Land and Resources Bureau in Yantai city, Through analyzing the collected dataand information, the result is shown that:First, career pressure of grass-roots civil servants mainly caused by "perfect tendency","professional situation†and "the nature of workâ€, find that there are significant differencesamong demographic variables: sex, age, marriage status and working hours. Males have morepressure than females;31-40years of age have more pressure than41-50years old and18-30years old junior civil servants; Divorced or widowed junior civil servants have more pressurethan the unmarried population; those who work for3-10years old have more pressure thanthose works for10years of junior civil servants.Second, the psychological health level of grass-roots civil servants is in general, Theyhave obvious symptoms in three factors:"symptoms","depression" and " interpersonalsensitivity", At the same time, there are huge differences among four demographic variables:age, working hours, level of education and job position level. On the "body" project of theinvestigation, people who are over51years old have more pressure than other three groups,those who accepted college education or below have more pressure than those who areundergraduate or master. On the "interpersonal sensitivity" project of the investigate, thepressure faced by the level of ZhengKeji and below Keji is significantly more than Keji ofjunior civil servants; On the "depression" Project, people who are51years old,and between41-50years old,their pressure is significantly more than the people18-30years old junior civil servants, Keji significantly more than below Keji of junior civil servants; civil servantsworking on a "forced" Project1-3years have more pressure than those who work for one yearand more than10years; in the "hostile" project, the pressure master and junior civil servantsface is significantly more than undergraduate; On the "Other" project, grass-roots civilservants whose age above51years old have significantly more pressure than the other threegroups, whose age between41and50years old have significantly more pressure than thetwo younger age groups; grass-roots civil servants who work more than10years havesignificantly more pressure than junior civil servants who work one year or3-10years. thosewho work1-3years or3-10years have significantly more pressure than junior civil servantswho work for one year or less;and the following specialist qualifications were significantlyhigher than the undergraduate junior civil servants.Third, overall, the subjective feeling about pressure of the grass-roots civil servants isrelatively large, and the distribution in histogram is negatively skewed. Under a variety ofpressure comes from work and life, there are urgent needs to alleviate pressure by themselvesor supported by external environment. And most of them still can receive professionalcounseling approach.According to the result of this research, combining with the content of the interview,this paper finally proposes that it is an efficient way to solve the problem of the grass-rootscivil servants’ professional stress and mental health problems by importing EAP. Then itmakes assessment to the EAP in grass-roots public sector needs, discusses the suitable for thisgroup of EAP implementation principle, mode and concrete steps, etc, further analyzes thepossible difficulties in the implementation process, to alleviate the pressure of the grass-rootscivil service career, and to improve their psychological quality, to help improve their ownability. |
