Research On Scenario Episodes For Emergency And Sensemaking In Organization

Unconventional emergency in recent years, not only the frequency are increasing, the scale is also growing, largely restricted to the current economic development, and even seriously affect the stability of present society, it has now entered a period of frequent unconventional emergency. At the same time, because of the degree of social organization system is increasing, and the increasing dependence relationship between organizations, unconventional emergency also serious harm to the development organization. Therefore, an unconventional emergency has become a common concern, and scenario-response theory has become a hot topic in the areas of emergency management. In view of this, based on this background, this paper attempts to establish a theoretical model based on scenarios, use the related theory of sensemaking to study the system of sensemaking between scenario episodes, and provide effective means and ways in dealing with unconventional emergencies to give some reference significance.The research for unconventional emergency, select DongQi 5.12 Earthquake Relief life as text, according to the order and to carry out exploratory work. On the one hand, based on the research of scenario theory, could be divided into different scenario episodes in detail analysis; on the other hand, according to sensemaking model to analysis, which analyzes outstanding contribution and valuable information in the process of life rescue. Therefore, this study suggests that scenario theory plays a significant role in the emergency management, and uses the approach of scenario episodes is effective, at the same time, in accordance with the process of sensemaking in organization about scenario episodes also meaningful.Summary and learn from the above research, the study of the combination of theory and real case, in addition to meet the needs of existing emergency management can also carry on the theoretical results by certain means of theory research, would be combine with key projects in unconventional emergency and theoretical research in organization, which provides support for the future of unconventional emergency management theory system and have revelatory significance for domestic enterprises to experience for similar incidents.
