| Global Fortune Forum of 2013, which was held in Chengdu, Sichuan Province from June 6 to June 8, drew national and even worldwide concern. It is such a high-specification world-class forum that is highest in scale, largest in number of attendees, and widest in foreign guests. It is a rare opportunity for the development of Chengdu, but has brought unprecedented challenges to the prevention of the fire safety here. The forum gathered social celebrities, elites and dignitaries, and thus the fire safety prevention was faced with great pressure. In case of a fire accident, especially a serious one with strong influences, a bad impact would be exerted on the image and reputation of China in the world. Its influences on financial investment, international status and national honor would be immeasurable. With such great responsibility, the prevention shall be quite safe. In spite of no any experience in the fire safety prevention of world-class international events,Chengdu Municipal Fire Bureau eventually achieved the goal set by the government and ensured that the forum was held smoothly and safely by means of strictly following the safety requirements put forward by the local government, innovating working modes of fire safety prevention, firmly holding fast to the core concept of prevention first and making good preparations for emergency disposal of fire accidents. Through the application of the theory of system management and emergency management theory, the paper studied the case and results of innovations in fire safety prevention during the forum, and summed up innovating experience in fire safety prevention to provide a reference for the fire safety prevention of similar world-class large-scale activities to be held in Chengdu. The main contents of the paper include five parts, namely, introduction, case description, factor analysis, reference and enlightenment, and conclusion. |
