Governmental Credibility In Government Micro-blog

In the era of micro-blog, government micro-blog has become the "green platform" through which government maintains efficient communication with the general public. The governmental micro-blog, just like an important bridge, that helps the government listen to people’s livelihood, coordinate the relationships between different interests, alleviate social contradiction, leading public opinion actively, fulfill the functions of social management and public service, maintaining social harmony and stability. With the rapid development of seeking advice for administration from netizens in micro-blog, the present paper makes an in-depth analysis of deficiency of the governmental credibility in the government micro-blog by studying the case of Sanya Ripoff Event in 2012, including a mere formality-orientation for seeking advice from netizens on micro-blog, the public’s decreasing approval degree of the government micro-blog, government sectors’ out-dated management styles as to microblogging public opinions and insufficiency of official and civil interactions in governmental microblog. The reasons lie in the inadequate transformation of governmental functions and the imperfection of relevant management systems and mechanisms of the governmental micro-blog. As such, it’s of great necessity to actively explore the related countermeasures and suggestions to improve the governmental credibility in the governmental micro-blog. In view of this, to improve the governmental credibility in the government micro-blog, breakthroughs can be made form the following aspects, namely, perfecting the management mechanism of dealing with micro-blog public events, innovating the administrative system, organizing the professional management team of the government micro-biog and strengthening construction of rules of the micro-blog, in the sense of improving the level of official and civil interactions, enhancing governmental transparency, improving the governmental ability of dealing with micro-blog public events, reconstructing the governmental discourse power, thus gradually improving the credibility of the government and striving to build a service-oriented government.
