Research On The Bilateral Relations Between China And Vietnam In New Century

China and Vietnam is closed to each other, meanwhile, they had a long history of nation relationships. Since the end of the Cold War, the relationship of China and Vietnam is changing from against to repair. According to the development in recent years, the overall situation is relatively stable. However, the international situation is still fraught with variables. Good-neighborliness and friendly cooperation between China and Vietnam is still full of challenges. This thesis will focus on the behavior of nation-states, analyses the developing interactions of two nations. Within a period of history between China and Vietnam. Since the establishment of diplomatic relations between China and Vietnam, two nations had maintained a close relationship.Although there have been some setbacks, generally, bilateral relations are moving forward.Since entering the new century, the United States was running the strategy of "return to the Asia-Pacific" increasingly active, Vietnam is cooperate with the United States actively, meanwhile Russia, Japan and other countries contained development of China, they stir up troubles in the South China Sea, made confrontation to China.Analyzing the deeper reason behind, interests be the first to be affected. On the one hand, as the small country of southeast Asia, Vietnam needed a powerful neighbor-China to help itself to develop. On the other hand, Vietnam is afraid of high speed development in China, many border issue as well as the South China Sea dispute over these years exacerbate Vietnam’s wariness. Abundant resources and the important geographical location of South China Sea salivating Vietnam. Moreover, America intervenes and focuses on the South China Sea issue, Vietnam sees the best external forces to suppress China. Recently, the United States declared that "the South China Sea issue is related to the USA national interests" openly and repeatedly, strengthenedits existence, expanded its strategic interests in China and ASEAN. Vietnam in recent years draw some countries over to its side to participate in the South China Sea issue,aimed at make the situation more complicated. This has led to much more challenges to China. As a result, deal with the problem in Vietnam is the key to keep good relations between two countries. On April 7, 2015, the CPC central committee President Xi Jinping met with the central committee of the communist party general secretary of at the great hall Vietnam Ruan Fudong. The meeting coincides with the65 th anniversary of diplomatic relations between two countries. Two countries signed a cooperation plan(2016-2020), within lots of parts, such as financial, infrastructure,culture, legal, tax, etc.China and Vietnam made a agreement on the South China Sea issue "to control Marine divisions, jointly maintain peace and stability in the South China Sea".Maritime silk road constructions in the 21 st century will promote the comprehensive strategic partnership actively, promote connective cooperation, promote economic and trade cooperation to a new level. Vietnam is located in the key node of the maritime silk route of the 21 st century. As a transshipment port, agricultural products and the main supplier of the raw material’s will undertaking industry transfer to China.It is an important chance for Vietnam to participate in the "area". At present, both nations are in the key period of social and economic development, they are going to increase visits and contacts between leaders of the two countries, enhance mutual political trust, deal with the South China Sea issue, China-Vietnam relations to A healthy development. This thesis will analyses the current situation of the relationship between the two countries in the new period, and put forward o corresponding suggestions, in order to create a conducive to China’s socialist modernization construction of regional environment.This article is divided into four parts. In the first part, this thesis introduces the history of the relations between two countries, as well as the development of bilateral relations after the cold war, and finally analyses the relations between two countries from the perspective of geographical features. In the second part, mainly discusses the interaction relationship between two countries in new century, including the political,economic, cultural, and new partnerships four aspects, and also expounds the problems that exist in the interaction. In the third part, this thesis discusses the cause of the dispute in South China Sea, the trend of the history, current situation and future potential as well as influence of the nations relationship between the power factor. In the fourth part, this thesis puts forward to some suggestion to solve the problems during the China-Vietnam relations. For relations between these two countries, we should realize soberly, equality and mutual benefit and a “win-win”cooperation. It is the main melody of the bilateral relations. Matters of local differences and disputes should not impact on the overall situation of development with bilateral relations, try to get rid of the power and the surrounding influence of other factors, China-Vietnam relations will be able to drive on the right channel.
