Research On The Life Satisfaction Of The Child-lost Elderly Group In Nanjing

From the 1970 s, China has put into effect of the basic policy of family planning, more and more families choose to have only one child, one-child families become the main form of family in our society. However, the uniqueness of the one-child also brings vulnerability,especially in today’s society there are various risks, increasing the possibility of the death of the only child, thus, the child-lost families appear to the world. As the one-child policy continued, the problem that one-child died had become common and prominent in our society.Today, the fist practitioner of the family planning policy has slowly get into old age, and the only child of accidental death, making those increasingly aging elderly, not only to withstand the spirit pain caused by the loss of their only-child, but also make them to bear the pressure of various living pressure alone in later life. There, how to make the child –lost group to feel support, have someone to rely on and have somebody to nail in the coffin when they are old became the most un-ignore social issues for the government.Therefore, providing the most useful help to increase their life satisfaction has be placed in front of all the things of to be solved for the whole society.This paper selects the child-lost family as the research object, take Li shui District in Nanjing, Jiangsu Province as an example. Through actively and deeply connection with the families lost their only child, learned the life situation and life satisfaction of the child-lost group in current,summarize and analyze the factors that affect their life satisfaction,find the government, society, community and family defect in helping the child-lost group, combine the reality of our country, according to the analysis of the factors, in personal life, government level, social environment and community environment aspects put forward relevant policies and measures, proposed to establish a system combined by the government、society、community and family which are mutual independent and mutual supervision, so under the diversified assistance system,the group could walk out of the predicament and walk into the new life.
