Historically, philosophers’ views on the nature of human beings are divergent and unable to agree on which is right. They have carried out research from different ways on the basis problem of philosophy. Since ancient Greece, philosophers had formed ignorant views on the nature of human beings. In the middle ages, philosophers had gone further in the filed of researching on the nature of human. Later, the modern philosophers began to investigate the nature of human by the materialism. At the end, Marx put forward scientific view on the human nature on the point of dialectical materialism and historical materialism, which made the scientific theory of human nature had become a powerful productivity. Marx’s opinion on the nature of human is of positive theoretical significance and extensive significance. This paper studies the sources and process of Marx’s theory about human nature, reaches the conclusion that practice is the nature of human.In the course of human nature, Marx has put forward three kinds of views on human nature: "the nature of human is ’self regulations’ which is realized through the free and conscious activities", "human nature is the sum of all social relations" and "people’s need is human nature". These three views are interrelated and inseparable, they expounded the problem of human nature from different dimensions, they are the equivalent of the conclusion that human nature is practice. First of all, the free and conscious activity is work, also is the production practice; secondly, the formation of social relations is on the basis of practice, practice is the firstly human nature, social relations are only secondly human nature; thirdly, the need is the power and the objective for the people engaged in practice, and could only be achieved through practice. Therefore, Marx’s views in the different time on human nature are the same, his views on the question of human nature are accompanied the development of practice.China is in the primary stage of socialism, although economic output has ranked second in the world, but the overall income level is low, the distribution of social resources is uneven, the social conflicts of interest are increasing obviously, these have become barriers on the way of our country to realize the transformation of economy and society and the construction of developed socialism country. Grasp the theoretical connotation of Marx’s view that practice is human nature has the important guiding significance in correctly understanding the contradiction of developing socialist society, adjusting social relations which are based on the practice, achieving harmonious development of man and man, man and nature, man and society, and realizing the great rejuvenation of the Chinese nation’s dream.
