Since the Obama administration announced a high profile of its "Asia-Pacific rebalance" strategy, the Asia-Pacific region has become a great power game theater in the heart of the US treaty alliances with Japan, South Korea, Australia, the Philippines and Thailand, as its steering Asia-Pacific strategy of the fulcrum, while the alliance, Japan considered the cornerstone of peace and stability in the region.Regardless of the American government admit it or not, a large part of the motivation of its eastward strategy is to balance China’s influence. A concern is that in order to contain China, and its East Asian allies in its strategic role in the game of chess is much more critical than the other allies. Obviously, located in the northeastern coast of Canada’s Asia-Pacific countries, the United States is out of the loop of this strategy,then as America’s traditional ally, Canada’s China policy shows what kind of trends are. Is it to highlight its diplomatic independence, and actively developing relations with China? Or to cast the United States opt to balance China’s initiative to join the queue? Firstly, from Canada to China policy in the United States, "Asia-Pacific rebalance" strategy background started by Stephen Harper’s visiting China three times elaborated Canadian China policy change and continuity, and yet existed some problems. Canada tries to continue its China policy from a different perspective focuses on the reasons. Finally, the Chinese how to deal with the United States’ Asia-Pacific rebalance "strategy in Canada’s China policy put forward their own humble opinion.
