China rapid rise in the 21 st century has a major impact on the global geopolitics.The basic goal of U.S geopolitical strategy is to prevent a single country on the control of the Eurasian. On the geopolitical structure of the Asia-Pacific region, China and United States as the world’s political structure of the emerging power and the hold power, has a irreconcilable contradictions. As a regional power began to challenge the global hegemony country, the hegemony country will restrict the development of the regional powers, in order to maintain the balance of this region.Especially since Obama took office, the US global strategic focus turned to Asia,which brought great geopolitical pressure to China. Throughout the Asia-Pacific policy after the Obama administration took office, no matter how large the macro level of strategic thinking, or specific policy orientation on the micro-level, which can not ignore the hidden geopolitical considerations. Thus, we research Obama administration’s Asia-Pacific policy, we must first understand the American intellectual tradition geopolitical and analysis the geopolitical factors that affect US strategic. So we can have a more comprehensive analysis for Obama’s Asia-Pacific.The outbreak of the crisis in Ukraine in 2014 and the rise of IS, the United States faced a sharp increasing of geopolitical pressure in the Middle East and Eastern Europe, Obama still has repeatedly stressed the importance and necessity of turning the Asia-Pacific, but also lack of influential decision on the balance between his imminent crises and long-term strategic goals. Obama was questioned by his diplomatic capabilities. With the advance rebalancing strategy, its geopolitical negative impact in the implementation began to show, the debates and challenges he encountered gradually increasing.After the new Chinese leadership took office, Chinese policy maker proposed a“new security concept”, “new model of major power relationship”, “the Belt and Road”, in shaping China geopolitical influential. We building new model of major power relationship to ease the huge geopolitical pressure from the United States, in order to create a favorable external environment of peaceful development. We will continue to follow the principle of amity, sincerity, mutual benefit and inclusiveness in conducting neighborhood diplomacy and build a community of shared interests and common destiny with our neighbors. China created Asian infrastructure investment bank to expand infrastructure construction covering the whole Asia, and pursuit theoverall development of Asia, with the core of common development.
