There has been speculation as to whether the Obama administration's strate-gy of rebalancing the United States' foreign policy to focus on the Asia-Pacific ac-tually occurred.Through the analysis of U.S.economic growth and development of economic institutions,U.S.arms sales data, developments and changes to U.S.mil-itary exercises, patterns in U.S.aid,and military stationing agreements, the paper discerns that an actual and concerted effort was made by the administration to shore up and improve the United States' standing and clout within the Asia-Pacific.This can be seen through the United States' improved standing and development of economic institutions within the United States and abroad and the increased and preservation of high levels of arms sales to important allies within the Asia-Pacific.A trend was seen in which participating countries and troop figures were both in-creased amongst the military exercises of the U.S.military's Pacific Command while significant increases of military and humanitarian aid were given to strategic countries within the Asia-Pacific in the final year of President Obama's tenure.
