Executive Government Background, Local Government Regulations And Selective Of Environmental Information Disclosure

As an important means of communication to the public, corporate environmental disclosure get regulators and the public’s attention, and the studied factors gradually become a hot research. In the context of our special system,the local government environmental regulation and executive government background become an important factor affecting the level of corporate environmental information disclosure and quality. In this paper, under our current heavy polluting industries environmental information disclosure of listed companies generally low level of local environmental regulatory policy is not perfect reality, examine the relationship between government-backed companies, local government and environmental regulation differences between corporate environmental information disclosure, and tested their differences and tendentious issue of private enterprise selective disclosure of information disclosure exist.Firstly, according to the analysis of impression management theory, theoretical interest sector, sustainable development and corporate social responsibility theory of corporate government systems background and selective disclosure of environmental information, the logical relationship between the local government and environmental regulation differences selective disclosure of environmental information framework. This study found that the lower the level of disclosure of environmental information and there are differences in the industry, the low level of environmental information disclosure than the government-backed companies do not have; Government-backed companies weakened local government regulatory environment differences corporate environmental information disclosure regulation making use, there are differences in the selective disclosure of information on the factors; Private enterprises through the establishment of corporate government more inclined to reduce the background produced by government regulation. Finally, based on research findings, this paper from the central government, local government, listed companies, make recommendations public four levels, improve the regulatory environment, the level of disclosure of information as a whole.Through government-backed research firm, between local government and environmental regulation differences between corporate environmental information disclosure, to a certain extent, to enrich the existing literature, in order to improve the level of disclosure of environmental information, local government environmental regulation efforts to provide a theoretical basis.
