Research On The Social Integration Of Plight Of New Generation Of Migrant Workers

Migrant groups like migrant workers with Chinese characteristic appear in the process of urbanization and industrialization in any country. The first generation of migrant workers has quitted the stage because of age, while the new generation of migrant workers has become the main power of manufacturing, which plays an important role in economy construction in city. However, the circumstance of new generation of migrant workers is just passable because they contribute to the society but they are not able to integrate into the society. The problem of social integration for the new generation migrant workers is not only a sociological problem but an issue related to the construction of harmonious society. The plight of social integration of new generation of migrant workers was analyzed and three countermeasures were brought up to promote this process to speed up the process of their social integration under an investigation and survey on the new generation migrant workers in Changchun.This thesis is divided into four parts:The first part mainly introduced the research background and value of the subject and explain the relevant concept such as new generation of migrant workers, etc, and design of the thesis.The second part reflected the plight of integration into society in the form of data under the survey of lifestyle of migrant workers of service industry in Changchun.The third part analyze the reason of the new generation of migrant workers’ plight from the aspects of lack of institution, discrimination from society and self-shortage.The fourth part aimed to find an effective way for social integration of new generation of migrant workers according to the analysis of reasons. The holy duty was completed rom the sight of enhancing institution guarantee, eliminating the social prejudice, and increasing selfquality.The fifth part made a prospect on state of social integration of new generation of migrant workers through the summary of part of survey and dissertation in thesis.This paper explored the problems and influencing factors of social integration of new generation of migrant workers based on the survey statistics and real personal interviewing aiming to provide relevant advice and countermeasures on social integration of new generation of migrant workers and realizing choosing job freely for urban and suburban workers and flowing freely for urban and suburban resident and the equal enjoyment of the legitimate rights and interests.
