Village Trust Changes: Hongcun Road Construction Storm

In this study, the author takes the interaction between Villagers and village leaders as the analysis frame, to research the trust relationship between villagers and village leaders, by using the "process-events" analysis method. This article tries to study the phenomenon by describing the construction of the road in Hong village and the interaction between the two subjects.By describing the process of the constructing roads in Hong village, the author attempts to study how the trust relationship increased and decreased, and to study the relationship between the village trust and village events. The village trust influenced the executive force, and the village events made effects on the village trust conditions. The two subject influenced each other, deciding the development of he village politics.The trust of the village committee and the approval of the village leaders co-existed in Hong village. As the symbol of the state power, the village committee was trusted by villagers. However, as the executor, the village leaders were distrusted. In such a politic indifference village, the villagers in Hong village were still in support of the construction of the roads and took effective measures on the event. It is the event led to the change of the relationship between villagers and village leaders.
