A Case Study On The Integration Reform Of The Household Registration System In Chengdu

For any country, the importance of household registration management can not be ignored, which belongs to the national basic administrative system, to some extent, it plays a key role in the stability of the country. Household registration system, usually in the form of personal management, specifically is through the collection, registration, the citizens spontaneous to death were all recorded. Legal address and kinship is also a need to manage the content, the protection of citizens in social life enjoy the basic rights and interests, which is carried out for the population of special management, with the development of the times, the traditional household registration system has been unable to meet the needs of social development, in order to change this problem, we must in-depth reform of the system.This paper sets Chengdu since 2003 the implementation of unified urban and rural reform of the household registration system as an example, according to the Chengdu Municipal People’s government issued a series of policies, coupled with the management of the household registration sweeping reform has been preliminary results. In this paper, according to the reform of the household registration system for in-depth study, starting from the premise condition of reform, and then explore the reform method, process and related initiatives, such as problems, finally summarizes the outcomes of the reform of household registration system in Chengdu, and points out the deficiencies and the need to improve the place. In fact, the achievements of the reform of the household registration in Chengdu is the national attention, known as the most thorough demonstration city of the reform of the household registration system. In this paper, the results of the reform of the household registration system in Chengdu City, the results of the deep mining of the reasons and reform ideas, to provide reference for the reform of the household registration system in other areas of China and the path and methods.
