Strategies Of Internet Public Sentiment For Local Government

With the declining cost of Internet access and the continuous improvement of China’s Internet infrastructure, China’s Internet penetration rate is constantly rising and the internet is used in a deeper level by users. They can not only get the information easily through the Internet, but also can publish the information consciously. The Internet is becoming to the main carrier which to express public views and start a discussion, and then extending to a internet public sentiment which influence people’s lives far and wide.The local government is most closely to people’s lives. In recent years, there are many hot events caused and enlarged by the Internet which made the local government became the main target of the internet public sentiment. Therefore, the research of the preventive solution for the local government’s internet public sentiment has very important theoretical and practical significance.In order to make further recommendations for the local government that how to respond the internet public sentiment, this paper select the local government of Hainan Province as an example to try to make a research on the strategy to deal with internet public sentiment based on the existing research and experience. This paper mainly describe the typical cases of Internet public sentiment responded by the local government of Hainan Province in recent years, analyze the problems and reasons of other local government when responded the internet public sentiment currently and put forward the strategies that how to respond the internet public sentiment for China’s local government, which is change ideas, face up to the internet public sentiment, improve the organizational structure, improve the response mechanism,learn from foreign experience, promote the network in accordance with law; strengthen the team building, improve the quality of staff member, add to the hardware investment, strengthen the work of the foundation, enrich the lead way and strengthen the emergency response capabilities. In conclusion, I hope this paper can not only works for the local government of Hainan province, city and county levels, but also provide a reference for all levels of local governments in other district to how to respond the internet public sentiment.
