Study On Mechanism Of Ideological And Political Education To Juvenile Offenders In Community Correction

With the abolition of reeducation through labor and the development of community correction,those juvenile offenders,whose subjective malice and social harmfulness is much smaller and slighter, are gradually incorporated into the community correction range.It can be beneficial to correct juvenile offenders’ distorted psychology and ideology,and to cultivate a sound personality. The key to educate juvenile offenders in community correction is the ideological education. And in order to keep the ideological and political education to the juvenile offenders resultful in the long run,the mechanism of ideological and political education should be established. Because of subject differences, law subject usually focuses on the legal system construction of juvenile offenders’ community correction, while the ideological and political education focuses on the mechanism of college students’ ideological and political education.So a few try to use the existing mechanism of ideological and political education to the juvenile offenders’ education in community correction.The study attempts to combine the community correction, juvenile offenders and mechanism of ideological and political education to explore the mechanism,which is suitable for juvenile offenders in community correction.The study consists of five parts :The first part is an introduction.It contains the background and significance of this study,current research,research methods,innovation and deficiency. The second part is to define the connotation of the concept, mainly including the community correction, juvenile offenders and mechanism of ideological and political education. This part lays the conceptual basis of the study.The third part is the theoretical basis and time value,in which,the theoretical basis consists of Marxist theory on crime, Marxism about human comprehensive development theory, Marxism about human needs theory and Maslow’s hierarchy of needs theory.And the time value is to realize there-socialization of the juvenile offenders, improve and enrich the function of traditional community in China, promote the socialization of community correction and improve the effectiveness of Ideological and political education. The forth part analyses the current situation to the mechanism of ideological and political education.First of all,it analyses the questions and reasons for the mechanism of ideological and political education to juveniles offenders in community correction.Secondly, it attempts to analyse the juvenile offenders’ mind state,including the characteristics of their mind,the problems existing in their mind and the reasons.This part provides a realistic basis for the construction of ideological and political education mechanism.The fifth part discusses the construction of ideological and political education mechanism to the juvenile offenders in community correction.Based on the conceptual foundations, theoretical basis and realistic foundation above,it will explore to construct the mechanism of ideological and political education to juvenile offenders in community correction.This part consists of two processes : the first process includes dynamic mechanism, identification mechanism, incentive mechanism and so on; the second contains adjustment mechanism, security mechanism and evaluation mechanism,which constitutes a complete a mechanism system of Ideological and political education.
