Stduy On Legal Consciousness Cultivation Of New Generation Migrant Workers

Enhancing the law awareness of modern migrant workers is one of the most important targets for China’s effort to advance ideological and political education and construct socialism legal country. However, as the number of modern migrant workers keeps growing, the lack of law awareness of the group gradually comes out as a serious problem, accompany with China’s rapid urbanization. The workers have a stronger demand for lawful rights and interests on account of their increasing self-awareness, while their rights and interests are frequently violated for 3resons, uneven distribution of urban resource, their unfair social position, weak recognition of the law and law ability to use it. As a result of the violation, the negative emotion spreads and creates a lot of resistance to legal consciousness cultivation throughout the group.It has been more than two decades from the first five-year program of law publicity and cultivation in 1986, to the sixth one, however, the modern migrant workers, as an important part of citizens, legal education to which makes little progress with great efforts, the law consciousness of the group is still relatively poor, reminding us of the problems exist as before in cultivation of legal consciousness. Enhancing the law awareness of modern migrant workers is not only a issue of their individual development, but also an important segment in China’s construction of legal society. Selecting legal consciousness cultivation of the modern migrant workers as research object, hence, can not only solve the practical problems, but also enrich the theory of ideological and political education’s pertinence and effectiveness.This paper makes an in-depth analysis of the problems and corresponding solution in law consciousness cultivation among migrant workers, based on a on a full appreciation of the whole situation and actual condition. It is divided into five chapters:Chapter one combine relevant knowledge with current situation of law consciousness cultivation among migrant workers to discuss the background, aim and significant of this paper; Chapter 2 elaborates the relevant concepts and theory in this thesis; Chapter 3 introduces the progress that have been made in law consciousness cultivation of migrant workers, explores the problems exist in its principal, content, method and way, by analyzing the data obtained from questionnaires and interviews. Chapter 4 try to solve the problems raised in previous chapter, by developing the existing cultivation system into one of explicit principal, abundant content, broad approach, and proper method. Chapter 5, the last part, makes a conclusion to the paper. The new point of view, to study the external course influencing educational subject and educational system, adopted by this paper complement the view of internal course that is mainly used in law consciousness cultivation study, and enrich the theory of law consciousness cultivation of modern migrant workers.
