The Social Work Intervention Across Community Rehabilitation Of Mild Physically Disabilities

In contemporary society, people pay much more attention to the individual ability to participate and integrate in society. Because of the physical objective defects, concept of deviation and relationships imbalance, the disabled people as social vulnerable groups,making the society function partial loss of them. So it is difficult for them to participate and integrate in society life. Mild physically disabilities are the group of disabled people in abilities. They can look after themselves in their daily life, doing simply activities and having normal communication with others. But they still face many issues such as low self-esteem, family tension, social communication difficulties, difficult to integrate the community and so on. It directly affects their physical and mental rehabilitation. Therefore,it is the imperative duty of every one of us to assistance the mild physically disabled persons to restore self-confidence, improve the relationship with the family and integrated into the community.This article bases on the project of “Give love, bright sunshine”. The BH community is our study place and the mild physically disabilities are objects of our study. BH community provide an opportunity for us to work with In-depth interview, observational method and other professional approaches, so we can collect data and investigate related conditions for disabled persons. By comparing and consulting the problems, we try to make some analyze of it, make some service plan. According to different service object of the problem, we try to use some best professional social work method, making interactive integration of the professional social work and practice. We try to play the good rehabilitation role of the community, helping the disabled people return to the society. After all, we can form a real rehabilitation environment of “self-family-community”, and promote mental and physical real rehabilitation for the disabled people. At last, we hope the practical results of this study can bring new ideas for the rehabilitation cause of disabled persons. What more, we hope the study can make valuable reference for the disabilities on the intervention of social work practice exploration.
