Study On Construction Of New Rural Community In Pastoral Areas Of Gansu Province

Community is a microcosm of society. It plays a fundamental and crucial role for the harmonious development of the whole society. New urbanization is an important engine to lead the development of China’s economy. As an important part of the development of urbanization, the new type of community construction has strong theoretical foundation and support, which is widely carried out in the whole country. Therefore, the new type of community construction is the innovation and the carrier of the urbanization development. It is very important for the healthy development of new rural communities to solve the problems in the process of construction and development of new type community.The purpose of the new type of community construction in Gansu province is to protect the grassland, improve the living standard of the herdsmen, and raise the income of the herdsmen. However, herdsmen settlement issues be highlighted in the new era, grassland ecological problems caused livestock carrying capacity degradation, herdsman income growth lags behind economic growth, the uncomfortableness of the change of the way of livelihood of herdsmen after settlement, construction of pastoral communities in the process of capital, land, human element is restricted, and the protection of national cultural heritage and pastoral nomadic culture there are also difficultied. Study based on four typical communities in pastoral areas by comparing the problems and reasons of the community construction in different regions and in different periods, to explore the changes and differences, in order to provide a reference for the community construction in the western region of China.
