| Due to the successfully holding the 2008 Olympic Games in Beijing, there has been sufficient sports tourism resources in Beijing. The integration of sports and tourism industries, produces the demands of talents in sports tourism. In order to make sustainable development in the field of Beijing’s sports tourism, it requires to cultivate the effective sports tourism professionals. In view of this, with the help of literature review, questionnaire and statistics, the author made a careful study about three groups of people as research objects, including those management from the Beijing Municipal Bureau of Sports, the Beijing Municipal Bureau of Tourism and the institutions of sports tourism; those employment from the tourism industry; those professional teachers from the tourism study. With the great amount of first-hand information and systematic analysis, we can see many things need to be improved and developed, such as industrial structure, the cultivation of professional talent, the curriculum system of sports tourism. Based on the social needs and actual situation in Beijing’s institutions of higher education, this paper will come up with a new mode of research for the training of sports tourism management talent. |
