With the development of society, the social transition in China, there is a specialgroup of people--the left behind children in rural areas, this group since itsappearance is popular, in recent years, more and more scholars began to research theirpsychological health problem.This study is to improve the mental health level of left-behind children’s point ofview, the intervention experiment of left-behind children for a period of3monthsof extra-curricular physical exercise, to explore the use of extracurricular physical exerciseto promote ways and methods of left-behind children psychological health level.Mainly includes the following three aspects of the study:The first step: before the experiment, the solid town primary school the sixthgrade all students mental health questionnaire, analysis of the basic situationof left-behind children; comparative analysis between left behind children andnon left-behind children psychological health level of. By random sampling method toselect the control group and the experimental group, and the homogeneity test of the.The second step: in the time of extracurricular sports activities, the teachers lead thestudents in experiment group carries on the extracurricular physical exerciseintervention, improve the rear children’s psychological health level, enhance physicalfitness, and the experimental group of students to grasp the method of self adjustment ofmental state. After three months after the end of the experiment and the end of theexperiment the students once again issued a mental healthquestionnaire, test the psychological health level.The third step: use SPSS17.0to test, after the experiment, and the end of theexperiment to test the data for statistical analysis of three months later, the results of theexperimental study, and give some suggestions, and analyzes the limitations of this studyare.Draws the following conclusion: (1)The results of data analysis show that: before the experiment of left behindchildren’s mental health problems and a higher detection rate; and non left-behindchildren compared with, in learning anxiety, are on the total level of health anxiety, selfblame tendency, allergic tendencies, physical symptoms and psychological difference, thisindicates that the necessary the extracurricular physical exercise intervention experiment.(2) Based on the data analysis and experiment show that before theexperiment: the extracurricular physical exercise, the experimental group hadbetter left-behind children at the level of each factor, psychological health level. While thecontrol group students, after experiment mental health level declinedslightly, the extracurricular physical exercise has a positive role inpromoting the left-behind children mental health level.(3) The end of the experiment measured data show that: after three months ofleft-behind children psychological factors occur repeatedly, but the experimental group leftbehind children’s mental health level is still higher than that of the control group. Thissituation reflects the volatility changes of left behind children psychological health level, itshows that the extracurricular physical training methods to improve the mental health ofleft behind children is a long-term and arduous task.
