The new media provide us a wonderful world, greatly enrich our cultural life andentertainment. But most of the time to provide us with is a virtual world, since it is virtual,then there are true and false questions, then there is discrimination with no or yes. Theimmature middle school students in the course of new media should arouse our attentionand concern particularly. This is the responsibility of the whole society and each of ourideological and political education workers. This article is from this point of view, startfrom the introduction of the concept of new media, and briefly introduces thecharacteristics and the trends of new media, followed by a questionnaire survey, summedup the impact of new media on the learning and life of junior middle school students, thussummed up the challenges of new media brings to the junior middle school Ideological andpolitical education work and put forward some suggestions to meet these challenges inorder to improve the work of junior middle school Ideological and political educationunder the new media environment.The article is divided into four parts.The first part of the paper is the introduction, is divided into four parts. It introducesthe of the purpose and significance of the topic, the research status at home and abroad aswell as the concept and characteristics of new media, the research methods and ideas.The first chapter, investigation of the use of new media in junior middle schoolstudents, the object designed questionnaire for junior middle students in some school inLiaocheng city. This chapter is divided into two parts. The first part is the survey principleand basic content; second part is the analysis of the questionnaire results, according to theanalysis results of the third chapter.The second chapter,the impact of the new media on learning and life of junior middleschool students. According to the questionnaire and the results analysis of the secondchapter we got the two parts of this chapter. The first part, the new media positive impacton learning and life of junior middle school students; the second part, the negative impactof the new media on learning and life of junior middle school students.The third chapter is the focus of this paper, the challenges and suggestions of the newmedia brings to the ideological and political education in junior middle school. This chapter is divided into three parts, the first part,to improve the ideological and moralteaching content should; the second part, to improve the ideological and political quality ofteachers; the third part, to improve the means of Ideological and political education. Ineach part firstly analyse the challenges of the new media brings to the ideological andpolitical education in junior middle school under the new media environment, and thenputs forward some corresponding suggestions in order to improve the ideological andpolitical education of junior middle school under the new media environment.
