Basic elements of teaching is teacher, curriculum and student. The relationshipbetween teachers and students, namely teacher-student relation, is the premise that theeducational activities can carry on smoothly. It includes matter relations andinterpersonal relationship. In the teaching process, the teacher appears by theknowledge owner, the student listens quietly by understanding very little, here, therelations between teachers and students is the matter relations; At the same time, theteacher and the student like the friend in the situation outside teaching admonishedmutually. They have the collision and exchange of academic sympathetic chord andemotion of thought. It displayed the interpersonal relationship, namely “I”-“you”relation. This kind of relations were the coordinated-personality in the contact, and itwas also un-oppression-freely in the coexistence.This article unifies our country ancient times, modern as well as the modernteacher student relationship and the historical data, utilizes the literature law and thehistorical methodology. To analyze the type of teacher-student relation at that time aswell as at present. Finally I obtain the enlightenment:Teacher student relationship occupies a reform stage.As social transitionconsistent. The thought that of honoring the teacher and respecting his teachings at thesame time, in the traditional culture forms still exists in the current teacher studentrelationship.This mainly manifests in the matter-relations between teachers andstudents. The teachers appear by the knowledge owner, the student listens quietly. Ittakes the teacher and books in the teaching as the center.On the other hand, along withimplementation of the new curriculum reform, it pays great attention to develop thestudent individuality in the teaching, raises the student creativity and independentcharacteristic. The interpersonal relationship between teachers and students graduallyis established. Then, in the teaching, we should we do to establish the teacher-studentrelation? The maintenance and construction of good teacher-student relationshipneeds the teachers and students common endeavor. First, from student, they shouldrespect authority. Next, regarding teacher, on the one hand they should like living,including respecting the student, understanding the student and cherishing the student.On the other hand,they should not only take office the fostering of matter relations,butalso the development outside interpersonal relationship.
