Study On Innovation Of Education Supervision In Qinhuangdao City

Education supervision, an important part of the education management and aneffective mechanism, is the supervision of the nation over education and its development.It refers to the government supervision over education work (i.e. Supervision of policyimplementation), over development situation of different grades(i.e. inspectors, includingpreschool education supervision, the supervison of compulsory education development,occupation education supervision, supervision of higher education etc.) and over mostconcerned or focused problems in the development of education.This paper analyzes the present situation, development and change of domestic andoverseas education supervision and conducts a comparative study on the educationsupervision of home and abroad. The study shows that education supervision in ourcountry falls behind the western developed countries in such aspects as its systems, teammembers ect. So there is still much to be done, especially in the system construction andinnovation of local education supervision. These problems have greatly restricted thedevelopment of education in our country especially that of local education. Striving tosolve these problems effectively and to form the new mechanism which can adapt to thenew era is an excellent way to promote the sustainable development of education, toconstruct an educational superpower, and finally to realize the great rejuvenation of thewhole nation, China dream.An empirical study has been conducted and difficulties and problems in the practiceof education supervision in Qinhuangdao City have been analyzed in this article. Andfinally the article puts forward some ways and methods of reform and innovation oneducation supervision of Qinhuangdao City: from rules of management, transformation ofgovernment functions, improvement of quality of education, to importance of educationsupervision while promoting education equity. Innovation of education supervision can beachieved by rationalizing management system, and reforming work mechanism. Theconstruction of education supervision can be strengthened while powerful institutionsscientifically determine its size and staff and have available funds and other investment. The education supervisors can make great improvement in their work when such rules areapplied to them: stingent entry, supervision and inspection, training and work effeciency.Standard optimization, method innovation; content overall planning and resultsreinforcement can be effectively used to play their postive role in education supervision.In this way supervisors can get feedback in time and offer constructive suggestion topolicy-making.
