Through students’ personal involvement and experience of chemicalexperiment, students will not only become more interested in learning chemistry andbuild up their emotion of learning chemistry, but also learn the basic methods ofchemical research and form the Experimental ability in chemistry. But in the remoterural areas, affected by teaching philosophy, teaching literacy, teaching environment andother factors, requirements of chemical experiment teaching in rural middle school is afar cry from curriculum standards. So the teaching effect is not satisfying. In this study, the author takes his school as an example. By investigating thecurrent status of chemical experiment teaching in rural middle school, analyzing thecauses of the problems and issues existing in experimental teaching and consulting alarge number of relevant documents and information, the author put forward and carryout some strategies or methods which combined with his experience in middle school, the constructivist theory, Bruner cognitive structure and chemical experiments onlearning theory to solve these problems.Research shows that main problems of chemical experiment teaching in currentrural middle school are: stale teaching philosophy, teachers’ low chemical experimentliteracy, lack of teachers’ evaluation in experimental activities, lack of teachers’responsibility and motivation and lack of teaching strategies etc. Based on theseproblems, the author put forward some methods: Firstly understand students’ learningpsychology and develop their interests; Secondly improve experimental equipments andoptimize experimental effects; Thirdly optimize experimental design and developstudents’ innovation capability; Next develop experimental resources to educate people; Finally pay attention to evaluation in experimental activities to improve students’standards and so on.The key of chemical experiment teaching are:change chemistry teachers’teachingphilosophy and their attitudes to chemistry experiment: chemistry teachers’understanding of chemistry experiment and chemistry teachers’ professionalism. The reform of chemistry experiment teaching is endless and needs to review constantly andimprove. The research has done some exploration to provide some reference aboutchemistry experiment in rural middle school. | | Keywords/Search Tags: | Rural middle school, Chemical experiment, Teaching situation, Survey, Countermeasures | PDF Full Text Request | Related items |
