A Research On LbD Talent Cultivating Mode Of Laurea University Of Applied Sciences

In the era of knowledge economy, human capital is becoming more and moreimportant between the countries’ competition, and institutions of the higher educationcultivate all kinds of talents, especially innovative talents and applied talents. Ourcountry is in the new period of socialist construction, institutions of the highereducation need to provide a large number of practical and creative talents for socialisteconomic development and construction. Entering the21st century, University ofApplied Sciences of Finland has trained a large number of practical and creative talentsfor the society.Laurea University of Applied Sciences as Finland’s fourth-largest non-universityinstitutions of higher education has explored the LbD Talent Cultivating Mode in theprocess of performance of the responsibility of universities, scientific research andcultivating talents. LbD Talent Cultivating Mode contacts applied research withdevelopment projects, so as to create the new learning culture, where students’ learningexpertise is in the process of social interaction, knowledge and competence sharing. Theresult is to create new knowledge, new products and new skills.This study adopts literature method and comparative method to study LbD TalentCultivating Mode of Laurea University of Applied Sciences introducing its background,theoretical basis, operating mechanism, the practice of case and so on, and from thelearning environment, teaching, curriculum, training objectives, quality assurancemechanism to analyze its characteristics. Furthermore, this study analyzed LbD TalentCultivating Mode’s results, the challenge and the strategy.We can learn a lot from LbD Talent Cultivating Mode of Laurea University ofApplied Sciences about the industry-education-research cooperation mechanism,responsibility, international cooperation, teaching, quality assurance mechanism.
