The University of Applied Sciences is an inevitable requirement of the supply side structural reform of higher education in China.It has both the nature of higher education and vocational education.It is a approach to solve the employment difficulties of higher education graduates and cultivate high-quality applied talents.The University of Applied Science in China is mainly developed by the transformation of teaching university,higher vocational and technical college and independent college.Therefore,the original teaching structure and teachers' knowledge and ability do not match the positioning of the University of Applied Sciences and the goal of talent training.In order to ensure the quality of personnel training in the University of Applied Sciences,the transformation and development of the teaching staff is imperative.This research adopts the methods of literature research,investigation and case study to investigate the current situation of the faculty transformation of S college of applied technology,analyzes the achievements and problems of S college of applied technology in the process of faculty transformation,and proposes strategies for the faculty transformation of the university of applied science.This study is divided into four parts.The first part is the introduction,which mainly explains the research background and research status,defines the relevant core concepts,and introduces the research methods adopted in this research institute.The second part analyzes the opportunities and challenges faced by the faculty transformation of the S College from three aspects,including the national policy background,the progress of the transformation and development of the S College,and the basic situation of the faculty before the transformation.The third part focuses on the quantity and structure of teachers,the knowledge and ability of teachers,and the management of teachers.Through the literature research and questionnaire survey,the current situation of the faculty transformation of S College is investigated.By analyzing the transformation measures adopted by colleges and teachers,the achievements and problems of the faculty transformation of S College are summarized and analyzed.In the fourth part,based on the situation of S college transformation,from the aspects of perfecting the transformation environment,providing teachers with the necessary basic conditions for transformation,encouraging teachers to strengthen their transformation cognition and to actively participate in transformation work,strengthening the universities' "external introduction","internal training",and improving the incentive mechanism,we put forward feasible suggestions for the current path of the faculty transformation of universities in China.
